Leitmotiv

This blog came into being because I wanted to bundle everything that has touched me, accompanied me or changed me in one place in order to bring it together for my loved ones.

If this knowledge, my experiences and my approach offers impulses, ideas or solutions to one or the other, I am very happy.

But basically this blog has already achieved my personal goal in that I have a possibility to write down and document everything I want to pass on to my next generation.

This blog is dedicated to my 4 wonderful children and everything they mean to me. They are my inspiration, my challenge to grow, to leave my comfort zone, to break new ground, to never give up and most of all to always stay ready to learn and answer their many questions.

I have lost myself through them, found myself again and most importantly I have learnt to allow myself to be myself so that I can model to them what it means to be an authentic, productive and integer member of a human society that they can actively shape.

Life is a dance and those who know how to dance it rightly enjoy the great game.

The goal of life is to live life itself as consciously and as authentically and with integrity as possible.

Life itself is the goal of life and if we manage to inspire someone through our lives, then we have achieved even more than we could ever have dreamed of.

I wish my children and everyone who reads these lines the courage, the strength and the love to live life to the fullest.

Acknowledgements:

To my family for giving me the framework to hang my mind movie in.

To my children for giving me the incentive to work on myself every day and to want to be the best version of myself. Through them I have learned humility as well as deep gratitude, because whenever I thought I knew the answer, they changed the question.

My mom because she has always served as my inspiration in NEVER giving up and has modeled for me that dreams are just goals we haven't reached yet.

My sister because she challenges me to question my limits and to always check them.

My brother for making my love of music tangible and showing me that even big, strong men can have a gentle nature.

My father and my grandparents because through their hard work and the suffering they were prepared to endure, they showed me that there must be another way and helped me to have the courage to go completely new ways in order to have integrity and authenticity.

My partner, who some people know as the father of my children, because he helps me to give my ideas the necessary framework and polish.

My aunts Anna and Anneliese and my uncle Ion because they have set an example for me that despite disabilities one can live a fulfilled and happy life, do good to others, encourage them and make them laugh.

And then there is a long list of people who don't know how profoundly they have influenced and inspired me.

For example:

my class teacher in grade 6 at Wittelsbacher Schule Kempten

my schoolmates during the 4 years at Mary Ward School Kempten

My colleague and the children I was allowed to accompany at Lebenshilfe Kempten

My supervisor, my colleagues and my patients at Enzensberg

The family doctor who accompanied me during my first pregnancy (as well as all 4 midwives who accompanied me)

My teachers and mentors at ETOS (ErgoTherapieschule Osnabrück)

The people who helped me to find faith in myself again when I thought I had lost all faith by simply walking alongside me.

and so many more who have a place in my heart.
